/Landscape
Landscape has been my passion from the day I started shooting. One of my favorite regions to shoot in are the mountains. I love mountainous regions and the beauty that I enjoy. I love to travel which is great for landscape photography, because I am seeing new landscapes and learning of new things to shoot.
Ironically the very first award that I won was a photo from Glacier National Park in Montana.
Landscape photography started when I traveled to Iceland back in 2006 and I was amazed by the geologic landscape of the island. I remembered that I used an 8MP DSLR camera that I borrowed from my family. Sadly, today I can not use those photos because of the size being 8MP, so it is hard to show them to people when they are pixelated and blurry.
There may be 10 other photographers shooting the same scene in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, but no photo will look the same. Why? Because photography is an art that everyone interprets their own way. Photography is an art that no one can copy.
Fun Fact: The term "megapixel" was first used in 1984.
